In the present study we report the expression pattern of the chemokines interferon-gamma-inducible protein (IP)-10, monocyte chemoattractant protein (MCP)-1, macrophage inflammatory protein (MIP)-1alpha, MIP-1beta, and regulated upon activation normal T cell expressed and secreted (RANTES) in sciatic nerves from animals with myelin-induced experimental autoimmune neuritis, using a semiquantitative reverse transcriptase-PCR dot-blot hybridization assay.
Regulation (regulated) of MIP-1beta in sciatic nerves associated with chemokine, inflammation, experimental autoimmune neuritis, sciatic nerve and neuritis

Since chemokines may be released into CSF from inflamed spinal nerve roots, we studied the concentrations of the chemokines MCP-1, MIP-1beta, MIP-3beta, IP-10, SDF-1alpha, RANTES, and SLC in the CSF by sandwich ELISA in patients over the course of GBS and CIDP, before and after immunomodulatory treatment.
Regulation (concentrations) of MIP-1beta in spinal nerve associated with chemokine, chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyradiculoneuropathy and syndrome

CONCLUSION: 5-HT3 receptor blockade transiently affects monocyte tissue infiltration, modulates T-H1 cytokines in clinical responders as well as MIP-1beta in moderate responders, and transiently affects the ex vivo response to exogenous TNF-alpha.

Regulation (modulates) of MIP-1beta in monocyte

CPK was correlated with changes in IL-6, G-CSF, IL-10, IL-1ra, and MCP-1 (r = .49-.68), (P < .001), but not IL-8 or MIP-1beta.
Regulation (changes) of MIP-1beta associated with disorders of creatine metabolism
