In the current study, immunocytochemical examination for dysferlin was tested on a muscle biopsies from 17 Korean ARLGMD patients, and the clinical and pathological characteristics of four Korean LGMD2B patients, who showed the complete loss of the dysferlin protein on a muscle biopsy, were investigated.
