Clementine

Clementine It is a data mining software tool by SPSS Inc., an IBM company. It enables its users to quickly develop predictive models using business expertise and deploy them into business operations to improve decision making.It was originally named SPSS Clementine by SPSS, after which it was renamed PASW Modeler in 2009 by SPSS.

Clementine is designed around the defector industry standard for data mining - CRISP DM (CRoss Industry Standard Process for Data Mining). It is tightly integrated with IBM DB2® Intelligent Miner components including IM Scoring, IM Visualization and IM Model.

Useful extensions:

  • PASW Text Analytics is a fully integrated add-on for PASW Modeler that requires a separate license. It uses advanced linguistic technologies and Natural Language Processing (NLP) to rapidly process a large variety of unstructured text data and, from this text, extract and organize the key concepts and group these concepts into categories.
